Daily Games Like Wordle

DLE HQ is a small shelf of free daily puzzle games you can play in the browser. Nothing here asks you to download an app.

Browse by Category

Word1 game

Word DLE games hide a short word and ask you to find it from letter clues. Rounds are built to finish in a few minutes, in the browser, with no download.

Geography0 games

Geography DLE games turn places into the puzzle: countries, capitals, borders, and where something sits on a map. You can play a round without keeping an atlas open.

History0 games

History DLE games use a date, a person, or an event as the thing you are trying to name. They are short puzzles, not lectures, and the answer should be checkable once it is revealed.

Science & Nature0 games

Science and nature DLE games cover living things, weather, and how the physical world behaves. Expect a compact puzzle about an animal, a plant, or a process.

Music2 games

Music DLE games ask you to name a song or an artist from a short listen. Songless Unlimited is the open-ended category game, and Hookstep is the daily intro puzzle.

TV0 games

TV DLE games build a puzzle around shows, characters, and episodes. The answer is something a viewer could recognize, without needing the series open in another tab.

Movies0 games

Movie DLE games use films, casts, and scenes as the clue. You are usually naming a title or a person, and the round ends once that guess is confirmed.

Gaming0 games

Gaming DLE games pull a puzzle from video games: a character, an item, or a title. They are a short sitting, not a walkthrough, and they sit with the other daily shelves.

Sports0 games

Sports DLE games turn athletes, scores, and records into a guess. You do not need a live broadcast. The page gives the clue, and the answer is a name or a number you can check.

Math0 games

Math DLE games are number puzzles with a target you can reach in one sitting. The rule fits on the screen, and the challenge is the pattern or the calculation.

Logic0 games

Logic DLE games start with a few constraints and ask you to narrow what is still possible. Deduction is the whole round, and the page should state every rule you need.

Color0 games

Color DLE games ask you to name, match, or mix a shade. The puzzle is visual, the answer is a color or a color word, and the round is built for an ordinary screen.

Visual0 games

Visual DLE games hide the answer in a picture, a silhouette, or a crop. You look first and then name what you see. The clue is an image rather than a definition.

Estimation0 games

Estimation DLE games ask how many, how far, or how large, and then show the gap. A close guess is the skill, and the page should explain how that distance is scored.

Board & Card0 games

Board and card DLE games borrow a piece, a hand, or a board from tabletop play and turn one rule into a puzzle. They are not full rulebooks for the original games.

Quiz & Trivia0 games

Quiz and trivia DLE games are short question rounds that do not fit a narrower shelf. Mixed topics land here, and each game page still explains its own scoring.

Higher or Lower0 games

Higher or lower DLE games show a value and ask whether the next one sits above or below it. The streak is the game, and one wrong call ends the run.

Other0 games

Other DLE games are daily puzzles that do not sit cleanly on the shelves above. If a game is hard to file, it is listed here instead of being forced into the wrong category.

Fresh Finds

New game pages stay in this list for at least five days after the date they are added.

What are DLE games?

DLE games are daily-style puzzles: one tidy rule, a short round, and a reason to come back. The name points at the family of games that grew up beside Wordle, where you make a guess, read the clue, and try again. On DLE HQ the games are free, they run online in the browser, and they do not ask for a download.

The shelf is still small. A category page lists only the games that are actually playable. Fresh Finds holds pages added in the last few days so a new game does not vanish the moment it launches.

FAQ

What are DLE games?

They are daily-style puzzle games. You get a compact rule set, you guess, and the game tells you how close you were. DLE HQ collects that kind of game in one place.

Are the games on DLE HQ free?

Yes. Every game currently on DLE HQ is free to play in the browser. There is no account and no download.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The featured game on the homepage and the games on their own pages run in the browser you already have.

How many games are on the site?

Only the games listed on this page. DLE HQ does not pretend the shelf is larger than it is. When a game is added, it appears in Fresh Finds for at least five days and on its category page.

Is DLE HQ affiliated with Wordle, Heardle, or Spotify?

No. The games here use their own names, colors, and rules. Hookstep and Folio each show an unofficial disclaimer on the game itself.

Why are some categories empty?

The category list is the map of the hub. A shelf with no game yet still has a page, so a new puzzle has a place to land. Categories with fewer than two games stay out of the sitemap until more games are listed.
